The Ikketes slide shoes feature a unique twist detailing at the front and are handmade from a single jute braid looped over a cotton lining. Its sole consists of two layers: one textile and the other natural crepe. The combination of jute and the sole ensures exceptional comfort with every step.

A Note from PLA:

To accurately determine your shoe size, it is important to consider both the length and width of your foot. Our shoe lasts are designed with standard dimensions, however, the toe area is wider to provide ample space for the toes.

There is a slight allowance of a few millimetres is anticipated in the indicated lengths. For instance, if your size is 39, we have measured it to accommodate a foot length of up to 25 cm, with an additional 2 mm of space available.

The Illetes model typically fits true to size, although it may feel snug around the instep initially, especially for those with wider feet. Please note that jute, being a flexible fibre, will conform to the shape of your foot over time.

The shoes are handmade from jute fibers by artisans in Bangladesh.
